A Workspace is the shared container for your team in Layerpath. All demos, Brandkit settings, member seats, and plan limits belong to a Workspace. When you sign up, Layerpath creates a default Workspace for you automatically. If you work with teammates, everyone in your organization should be in the same Workspace so you can collaborate on demos and share resources.

Roles

Every member of a Workspace has one of three roles:

Admin

Full access. Can create and edit demos, manage members, change roles, configure Brandkit, and manage the plan.

Editor

Can create, edit, and publish demos. Cannot manage members or change workspace settings.

Viewer

Can view published demos shared with them. Cannot create or edit content.
Only Admins can invite new members and change existing members’ roles. Editors cannot invite others unless the workspace plan allows it.

Inviting members

1

Open workspace settings

In the dashboard, click your workspace name in the sidebar, then go to Settings > Members.
2

Click Invite member

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite. You can invite multiple people by separating addresses with commas.
3

Assign a role

Choose Admin, Editor, or Viewer for the invitee. You can change their role at any time after they join.
4

Send the invitation

Click Send invite. The invitee receives an email with a link to join the Workspace.
Pending invitations appear under the Pending invitations tab in the Members section until the recipient accepts.
If a teammate hasn’t accepted their invitation, you can resend or remove it from the Pending invitations tab in your Members settings.

Plan limits

Each Workspace is on a plan that defines limits for:
  • Seats — the number of Admin and Editor members allowed. Viewers do not count toward seat limits on most plans.
  • Demos created — the number of demos you can create per month or in total.
  • Video exports — the number of video renders available on your plan.
  • Custom domain — available on paid plans for publishing demos on your own domain.
You can see your current usage under Settings > Plan.
If your Workspace reaches its seat limit, new invitees will automatically be assigned the Viewer role. Upgrade your plan to add more Editor seats.

Brandkit

Your Workspace has a Brandkit that stores your brand colors, fonts, and logo. When you apply your Brandkit to a demo, all three content types — Tour, Guide, and Video — reflect your brand automatically. To configure your Brandkit, go to Settings > Brandkit.
Set up your Brandkit before you start creating demos. Applying it consistently keeps all your published content on-brand without extra effort.
