Brandkit is your workspace’s central branding configuration. Everything you set in Brandkit — your logo, brand colors, fonts, and voiceover defaults — applies automatically to every Tour, Guide, and Video in your workspace. You configure it once and it appears everywhere.
Brandkit is a workspace-level feature. Changes affect all demos published from your workspace.

Accessing Brandkit

Go to Settings → Brandkit from the left navigation.
Only Admin and Editor roles can edit Brandkit settings. Viewers can view the settings page but cannot make changes.

What you can customize

Upload a logo to display in the intro overlay, outro overlay, and exported PDF guides. Layerpath supports separate logos for light and dark themes:
  • Light logo — displayed when the demo uses a light background
  • Dark logo — displayed when the demo uses a dark background

Open Brandkit

Go to Settings → Brandkit.
2

Upload a logo

Click Upload logo under the logo section. Upload a PNG or SVG file. Repeat for the light and dark variants as needed.

Favicon

Upload a favicon to use for your published demo share pages. This replaces the default Layerpath icon in the browser tab.

Brand color

Your brand color applies to:
  • Hotspot indicators in Tours
  • Tooltip background color in Tours
  • CTA buttons in overlay steps
Click the color swatch in the Color theme section to open the color picker and set your brand color.
You can still override the brand color on individual steps in the tour editor. The per-step setting takes priority over the Brandkit color.

Fonts

Set the fonts used for headings and body text across your demos.
Font settingApplied to
Title fontHeaders in overlays and guide titles
Description fontBody text in overlays and guide descriptions
Select a font from the font selector in the Brand font section. Fonts are sourced from Google Fonts.

Button style

Configure the default button appearance for overlay CTAs:
  • Background color — fill color for primary buttons
  • Text color — label color
  • Border radius — controls how rounded the corners appear

Voiceover settings

Set a default AI voice for video demos. The selected voice pre-fills the voice selector whenever you generate AI voiceover in the video editor.

Background

Configure the default background style for overlay steps. Options include solid color, gradient, and blurred screenshot backgrounds.

Watermark

Toggle the Layerpath watermark on or off for published demos. Removing the watermark requires a plan that includes Brandkit access.

Custom domain

You can configure a custom domain so your published demos are served from your own domain instead of the default Layerpath share domain. Two options are available:

Subdomain

Use a subdomain of the Layerpath share domain (e.g., yourworkspace.layerpath.com).

Custom domain

Use your own domain (e.g., demos.yourbrand.com). Requires DNS configuration and domain verification.
For step-by-step setup instructions, see the custom domain page.

How Brandkit applies to content types

Brandkit colors apply to hotspot indicators and tooltip backgrounds. Brandkit fonts apply to overlay headings and descriptions. Your logo appears in the intro and outro overlays.
Brandkit fonts apply to the guide title and step descriptions. Your logo appears on the cover page of exported PDFs.
The default AI voiceover voice from Brandkit pre-fills the voice selector in the video editor. Logo and color settings apply to any overlay elements added to the video.

Plan requirements

Brandkit customization requires a paid plan. If your workspace is on a free plan, Brandkit settings are visible but locked. Upgrade your plan to unlock editing.
  • Tour Editor — override Brandkit colors on individual tour steps
  • Video Editor — generate AI voiceover using the Brandkit voice default
  • Guide Editor — logo and fonts from Brandkit appear in PDF exports
